Tomato Prices Hit Tk 100 Per Kg in Dhaka Markets
The price of tomatoes has reached Tk 100 per kilogram in the kitchen markets of the capital, while most other vegetables range between Tk 50 and Tk 60. Broiler chicken prices have also surged, nearly touching Tk 200 mark. On Friday, visits to Karwan Bazar, Azimpur, and Mohakhali kitchen markets revealed this upward trend in commodity prices.
