The prices of
vegetables like cucumbers and eggplants have exceeded Tk 100 in markets. The
prices of other vegetables are also hovering near that mark.
However, the
prices of radishes and papayas are slightly lower, while okra and ribbed gourds
are available for under Tk 100.
During visits
to various markets in Dhaka on Thursday, it was observed that eggplants are
being sold for Tk 90-120 per kg, and cucumbers are priced at Tk 120-130. Consumers
