Meteorological Department (BMD) said thunderstorms and rain are likely to occur
in Dhaka and 10 regions across the country by afternoon.
According to
the weather forecast for the country’s internal river ports valid from 5 am to
1 pm on Friday, temporary gusty winds or thunderstorms at 45-60 kilometers per
hour from the south or southeast may sweep over the regions of Rajshahi, Jashore,
Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Cumilla, Chattogram, and Cox’s
Bazar.
