Health Minister
Sardar Md Sakhawat Husain has inaugurated a preventive oral cholera vaccination
campaign on Thursday morning at the auditorium of the Dhaka South City
Corporation.
Sakhawat said,
“Preventive oral cholera vaccine can be given to children over one year of age.
There must be at least a two-week gap between the two doses. Protection against
cholera can be obtained for at least 3-5 years after taking the vaccine.”
