Locals beat a
madrasa teacher over allegations of raping a nine-year-old female student in Ashwadia,
Noakhali on Tuesday.

Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Nazrul Islam confirmed the matter. The
teacher has been identified as Maulana Mobarok Hossain alias Emran, 45.
OC Nazrul said
the madrasa teacher used to tutor the student at his own house. Her family
alleged that the teacher raped her at his residence.
