A starving
mother monkey clutching her baby emerged from the forest and sat by the
roadside in Habiganj on Monday, indifferent to the crowds and traffic. The
mother held her baby tight while the little one gazed at pedestrians with
helpless eyes, both waiting for someone to offer food.
The desperate
pair had left the forest in search of sustenance and drew passersby to a halt
