Two of the
three members of a family burned in a gas leak explosion in Vatara, Dhaka died on
Friday while they were both receiving treatment in the ICU of the National
Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (NIBPS).

Surgeon Shawon Bin Rahman confirmed the matter. The deceased were Shahin, 25,
and his niece, Hafsa, 8.
Shawon said, “40
percent of Hafsa’s body and 50 percent of Shahin’s body were burned.”
