The ban on tourist travel in Bandarban has been extended
until July 15 as adverse weather conditions and heavy rainfall persist. The
Tourism Branch of the Bandarban district administration announced the
information on Friday evening.
The public notice issued in this regard was signed by
District Commissioner and District Magistrate Md. Samiul Ferdous.
It said, “As heavy rainfall continues and risks remain in
the communication system, the duration of the restriction has been extended.”
