BNP Leader Killed in Dhaka Over World Cup Match Dispute
A dispute over a World Cup football match escalated into violence, killing a BNP leader and injuring another in Adabor, Dhaka. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Mohammadpur Zone Jewel Rana confirmed the matter. The attack occurred around 8:30 pm on Wednesday. The deceased, Badsha Mia, was the general secretary of the Nobodoy Housing Unit BNP. Saddam Hossain, the president of the same unit, was also injured.
