Deadline for New Voter Registration Extended
The Election Commission (EC) has extended the deadline for new voter registration to July 31, ahead of the upcoming local government elections. The previous deadline was June 30. The extension was confirmed in the EC’s draft roadmap for the local government elections, which is awaiting final approval. The Election Commission has prepared separate roadmaps for elections to Union Parishads, Upazila Parishads, Municipalities, and City Corporations. The roadmaps are expected to be finalized...
