Trading on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended with a downward trend on Tuesday (8 September), the third working day of the week. Although the share prices of most companies declined, the total turnover increased compared to the previous working day.The DSE's benchmark index, DSEX, fell by 28.10 points to settle at 5,539 points.
