A businessman named Shahab Uddin (65), was hacked to death
by assailants in front of his home in Sylhet. The incident took place around
1am early Monday in the Islamabad area under Shahporan (Rah.) Police Station in
the city.
Shahab’s home was in Charkhai area of Beanibazar upazila in
Sylhet. He ran a consumer goods business at Charkhai Bazar. He had two sons and
two daughters. One of his sons lives in France.
