The man who was tied to
a pole on allegations of attempting to steal has been released after a video of
the incident went viral. Police said local residents released the man after
taking a written undertaking from him.
On Saturday morning, the
man’s young daughter came to see her father who had been tied up. She thought
her father was hungry. So, the girl bought tea and bread from a nearby shop and
