Summit Group has said its floating LNG terminal, in
Maheshkhali is fully operational and ready for gas regasification.
In a statement on Friday, Summit said a new LNG cargo is
expected to arrive at its terminal by the evening. This could improve gas
supply. However, for the overall national grid to return to normal, Excelerate’s
terminal will also need to return to full capacity, which is expected to take
