Outgoing President Md. Shahabuddin has left Bangabhaban. He left the presidential residence at around 2:15 pm on Sunday. He is now expected to move into his residence in Gulshan. On Friday afternoon, Md. Shahabuddin stepped down as the country’s 22nd president. Following his resignation, Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmed assumed the responsibilities of acting president in accordance with the Constitution.
