Barendra
Express broke down and came to a halt midway after its coil spring body snapped
in the Puranapul area of Joypurhat on Saturday.
Train
conductor Sanoar Hossain confirmed the matter. As a result, all train
operations on the Parbatipur-Santahar route have been suspended.
Following the
breakdown, several trains became stranded at different stations, causing severe
distress to passengers.
