A Chinese national and a 64-year-old
Nepali woman were rescued alive on Saturday after being trapped for 10 days
following a devastating flash flood and landslide in an area along the Nepal
China border.
According to a report by the
Kathmandu Post, the Chinese national named Lu Haitao was rescued from about 225
meters or 738 feet inside a tunnel at the Upper Trishuli 1 Hydropower Project.
