Fire authorities
said three people died after a helicopter crashed in suburban Los Angeles. The
incident occurred around 19:00 local time on Tuesday in the area of Lurline
Avenue and Nordhoff Street.
A
spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) added that the aircraft
went down between two commercial buildings in the Chatsworth neighborhood.
Emergency personnel transferred one patient to a local hospital, where their condition
remains unknown.
