Two children have been killed in separate landslides in
Chattogram on Wednesday. The incidents took place at Muktijoddha Hill in
Sholoshahar in the city and in the Jungal
Salimpur area under Sitakunda police station.
A 10-month-old child, Ashraful Islam Tanvir, was killed in a
landslide at a garden house near Khejurtala in Jungal Salimpur on Wednesday
morning. The child’s mother was injured in the incident. Tanvir was the son of
Mohin Uddin of the area.
