Dengue cases surged in July. A
total of 36 people died from dengue this month, while 9,206 patients were
hospitalized.
According to data from the
Directorate General of Health Services, one person died of dengue in the past
24 hours, from 8 pm Thursday to 8 am Friday. With this, the death toll for the
current month has reached 36. The total number of dengue deaths this year has
risen to 54.
