Dhaka court orders one-day remand for Akhtaruzzaman
The court ordered a one-day remand for Jamaat leader major (retd) Akhtaruzzaman. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Albiruni Mir passed the order on Saturday following a hearing. Authorities placed Akhtaruzzaman on remand in a case filed over creating chaos over luggage and trolley at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, obstructing government duty, and physically assaulting an on-duty security officer.    Police arrested Akhtaruzzaman from his residence in Dhaka’s Cantonment area...
