Smuggled goods worth Tk 3.48 billion seized along border
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized smuggled goods and narcotics worth Tk 3.4781 billion in raids across various border areas of the country in August. The information was disclosed in a press release sent by the BGB headquarters on Wednesday, 9 September. BGB Public Relations Officer Md. Shariful Islam said 220 smugglers were arrested in August on allegations of involvement in drug trafficking and smuggling.
