The Dhaka Chattogram Highway was blocked in Cumilla on Sunday demanding justice for Ishayat Shahriar Apratim, son of Dr Nahida Begum, an associate professor of the Department of Bangla at Cumilla University, who was killed. Five people were killed in a road accident in Bhanga upazila of Faridpur. At least 15 others were injured in the incident. Following the accident, angry locals blocked the Dhaka-Khulna Highway. A bus was also set on fire. The accident occurred Saturday afternoon in the Soyadi area of Bhanga upazila on the Dhaka-Khulna Highway.
