Saudi Arabia has announced the formation of a multinational
naval defense alliance to safeguard freedom of navigation in the Red Sea, the
Bab al Mandab Strait and the Gulf of Aden. The alliance held its third meeting
Thursday in the Saudi city of Jeddah, where 15 countries signed a joint
