BNP Secretary
General and LGRD Minister Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is recovering after
suddenly collapsing from extreme heat midday while attending a program in Dhaka.
His Assistant
Private Secretary (APS) Younus Ali confirmed the matter. Fakhrul also
attended a cabinet meeting held at the Secretariat on Thursday.
Fakhrul is
scheduled to attend a memorial service for former vice-chancellor of University
of Dhaka (DU) Emajuddin Ahmed at the National Press Club on Friday.
