The government has reconstituted the Executive Committee of
the Bangladesh Freedom Fighters Welfare Trust to make activities for the
welfare of freedom fighters more effective and dynamic.
Liberation War Affairs Minister Ahmed Azam Khan has been
appointed chairman of the new committee. The committee includes one state
minister, four members of Parliament and senior officials from the relevant
ministries.
