The government has approved the purchase of two cargoes of liquefied natural gas from South Korea and the United Kingdom. The country currently has a daily gas demand of 3.8 billion cubic feet. Although around 2.65 billion cubic feet was supplied during normal times, the supply has now fallen to 2.43 billion cubic feet.
