Security
measures have been intensified across Dhaka, including the Dhanmondi 32 area, marking
the 51st death anniversary of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Saturday.
A water
cannon has been stationed at the area, where more than a hundred police members
are on duty.

Johurul said, “I have been on duty here since dawn. I am here by order of the
Police Commissioner of Ramna Zone. Since morning, 33 APBn members have been on
duty on both sides of the road.”
