The Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) has issued an
urgent directive to restore discipline in the transfer process for government
primary school teachers. It said that transfer applications must be processed
through committees at the designated levels. Applications submitted directly to
the National Committee by bypassing the proper authorities will not be
