Four passengers were killed and seven others were injured in
a collision between a microbus and a covered van in Karnaphuli, Chattogram.
The accident occurred around 1:45 am Saturday at the
entrance to the Chattogram Cox’s Bazar Highway in the College Bazar area of the
upazila.
The deceased were identified as microbus passengers Ferdous
Alam, 55, Morshed Akter, 22, and Miftah Akter, 17, and driver Mohammad Munna,
40. They were residents of Eidgah area in Cox’s Bazar.
