160-million-taka worth of gold found in shoes of two flight crew members at Shahjalal
A total of 9.34 kilograms of gold has been recovered from inside the shoes of two flight crew members on the runway of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) seized the gold on Sunday. The estimated market value of the seized gold is 162.5 million taka. CIID officials said they recovered a total of 80 gold bars. Each bar weighed approximately 117 grams. The combined weight of the 80 gold bars was 9.34 kilograms. The gold bar...
