The Road Transport and Highways Division under the Ministry
of Road Transport and Bridges has issued a notification increasing bus fares.
The minimum fares in Dhaka and Chattogram have remained unchanged at Tk 10 and
Tk 8 respectively.
The notification was issued on Wednesday.
According to the notification, the fare for buses operating
in Dhaka and Chattogram metropolitan areas has been set at Tk 2.70 per
