The government has banned the use
of the Prime Minister’s photograph on banners, festoons, and billboards
prepared for official events.
The directive was issued in a
circular signed by Tania Afroz, Deputy Secretary of the Cabinet
Division, on Sunday.
According to the circular, the
use of the Prime Minister’s image, whether in 3D or any other format - on
banners, festoons, and billboards for government programs is now strictly
prohibited.
