Fourteen leaders and activists of the banned Chhatra League
who were arrested while celebrating Sheikh Hasina’s birthday at the residence
of former Barguna 2 constituency MP Md Shaukat Hasanur Rahman Rimon have been
sent to jail after completing their remand.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Albiruni Mir passed the order
after a hearing on Friday, October 2.
The accused are Md Yakub Hossain Rajib, Arafat Mia, Rifat
