Intermittent
rain has been occurring in Dhaka since Thursday morning. Bangladesh Meteorological
Office said rain might continue until 1 pm and storms with speeds ranging from
45 to 60 kilometers per hour may occur across nine regions of the country.
The forecast
for inland river ports, effective from 5 am to 1 pm, added that rain or
thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or stormy winds from the south or
