Salahuddin Noman Chowdhury has been appointed as the country’s
29th foreign secretary. A notification was issued on Sunday appointing him to
the post.
He succeeds Asad Alam Siam as foreign secretary. A farewell
ceremony for Asad Alam Siam was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on
