Jamaat leader Akhtaruzzaman detained
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami leader Major Akhtaruzzaman (retd.) has been detained by DB police. A source in the DB police confirmed that he was detained from his residence in the Cantonment area of the capital at around 5:00 pm Friday (October 2). Earlier, a case was filed against Major (retd.)
