OpenAI has secured $11 billion in new funding as part of an
investment round that values the artificial intelligence company at $1.25
trillion, a source familiar with the matter said on Friday.
The amount raised so far represents only a portion of the
company’s original fundraising target of up to $30 billion. Its current
valuation has also fallen from the $1.5 trillion it initially sought, according
to two investors.
