Mushfiqur Rahim injured his finger while batting in the nets on the eve of
Bangladesh’s first Test against the West Indies in Mirpur. Due to the pain in
his finger, Mushfiq could not complete his net session. He returned to the
dressing room without finishing his batting practice.
However, captain Najmul Hossain Shanto said the injury was not very serious.
As a result, there are currently no major concerns about Mushfiq’s availability
for the playing XI in the first Test of the series.
