Tawhid Hridoy’s ODI average stands at 97 in 2026

Tawhid Hridoy has become a trusted name in Bangladesh’s middle order. Against New Zealand, he scored 55, 30* and 35*. Earlier against Pakistan, he played unbeaten innings of 48 and 28.
Overall, he has played six ODIs in 2026. He batted in five innings and was dismissed twice. With three not-out innings, his ODI average this year stands at an impressive 97.00.
Remarkably, Hridoy is behind five other batters in this list. New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell tops the chart with an average of 176.00. He has scored 352 runs, including two centuries in three matches. India’s KL Rahul is second with an average of 142.00. He is followed by Joe Root (123.50), Brandon McMullen (122.00) and Hamad Mirza (100.50).
Among Bangladeshi batters, however, Hridoy leads the ODI batting average rankings. He tops the list with an average of 37.41 in 50 matches, ahead of Shakib Al Hasan. Shakib has an ODI average of 37.29, having played 247 matches.
Tamim Iqbal ranks third with an average of 36.65. Mahmudullah is fourth with 36.46, while Mushfiqur Rahim stands fifth with 36.42.
