He takes to the field at MetLife Stadium in New York–New Jersey, carrying the FIFA flag in front of 82,000 spectators at each match.
Out of 150,000 applicants, Tanvir secured a place in the special 150-member performance team for New York after clearing multiple selection rounds. He will be present at all matches scheduled in New York, including the World Cup final. Previously, he also performed the job at the FIFA Club World Cup last year.
A native of Radhanagar in Pabna, Tanvir, while expressing his feelings, said, "Standing on the field alongside players like Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, and Rafinha, as well as legends like Romário, Ronaldo Nazário, and Zidane—this is an experience I will never forget! Being able to present Bangladesh's name on the global stage is the greatest achievement for me." He also expressed gratitude to the Creator (of the universe) and thanked his parents as well as the people of his home country.
Tanvir Shake, the founder of Blackflame Theatre, has been active in the theater arena for over a decade and a half and has received multiple awards at both national and international levels.
