Eid-ul-Azha to Be Celebrated on May 28 in Bangladesh

The moon marking the beginning of the holy month of Zilhaj has been sighted in Bangladesh, paving the way for the nationwide celebration of Eid-ul-Azha on Thursday, May 28.
The National Moon Sighting Committee announced on Monday evening that the moon had been sighted in the sky of Bangladesh.
Speaking after a meeting of the the national moon sighting committee held at the conference room of the Islamic Foundation at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, Religious Affairs Minister Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad made the announcement.
He said the Zilhaj moon had been sighted in the country.
He confirmed that Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated across Bangladesh on May 28.
