12 Police Officers Transferred

Bangladesh Police has carried out a major reshuffle, transferring and reassigning 12 officers of the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police and Assistant Superintendent of Police.
The order was issued on Wednesday in a notification signed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md. Ali Hossain Fakir.
According to the notification, the transfers have been made in the public interest and must be implemented by July 1. Officers who fail to hand over their duties within the stipulated time will be considered automatically relieved from July 2.
Among those transferred, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Tanvir Hossain of Shariatpur has been moved to the Special Branch (SB). Additional Deputy Police Commissioner Ripon Chandra Sarkar of Barishal Metropolitan Police has been transferred to Khulna Metropolitan Police. CID Additional Superintendent of Police Farhana Afroze Jemi has been posted to the In-Service Training Centre in Jhenaidah.
Other transfers include Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Mostafizur Rahman from Chuadanga Sadar Circle to Narail Sadar Circle, Md. Sayeem Yusuf from Kotchandpur Circle in Jhenaidah to Police Headquarters, and Additional Deputy Police Commissioner Pohan Chakma from DMP to the In-Service Training Centre in Naogaon.
Assistant Police Commissioner Md. Moshiar Rahman of Barishal Metropolitan Police has been transferred to the 18 APBn in Rangamati, while Assistant Superintendent of Police Sheikh Mohammad Nurullah from Tala Circle in Satkhira has been posted to Damurhuda Circle in Chuadanga.
Additionally, Assistant Superintendent of Police Farhan-ul-Imam of Police Headquarters has been transferred to the Police Staff College in Dhaka. SM Mahbubul Alam of Gazipur Metropolitan Police has been posted to CID, RAB Assistant Superintendent of Police Md. Zia Latiful Islam has been transferred to Rangpur Metropolitan Police, and Khulna Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Sheikh Md. Abdul Razzaq has also been posted to CID.
