4 More Children Die with Measles Symptoms

Four more children died with measles symptoms across Bangladesh in the past 24 hours, according to a press release issued by the Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Friday.
The DGHS reported data covering the period from 8:00 am Thursday to 8:00 am Friday.
According to DGHS data, the number of suspected measles cases reached 1,078 in the last 24 hours, while the total number of suspected cases stood at 90,982 between March 15 and June 19.
During the same period, health authorities confirmed 96 measles cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 10,869 from March 15 to June 19.
No deaths from confirmed measles were reported in the past 24 hours. However, 93 people have died from confirmed measles between March 15 and June 19.
