New Chairmen Appointed to NCTB, Five Education Boards

The government has appointed new chairmen to the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) and to the Dhaka, Rajshahi, Cumilla, Jashore, and Bangladesh Madrasah Education Boards.
The appointments were issued on Monday through separate notifications from the Secondary and Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education.
According to the notifications, Professor Mohammad Fakhrul Mawla, vice principal of Chattogram Commerce College, has been appointed as the new chairman of the NCTB.
Professor Syed Aktaruzzaman, controller of examinations of the Mymensingh Education Board, has been appointed chairman of the Dhaka Education Board.
Shamima Ara Chowdhury, the current secretary of the Rajshahi Education Board, has been named the new chairman of the board.
Ahsan Parvez, principal of Daudkandi/Devidwar Government SS College, has been appointed chairman of the Cumilla Education Board.
Professor Faruk-e-Azam Md. Abdus Salam, principal of Khulna Haji Muhammad Mohsin College, has been appointed chairman of the Jashore Education Board.
Professor Khondoker Mohammad Sadekur Rahman, secretary of the Cumilla Education Board, has been appointed chairman of the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board.
