Bangladesh, China Reaffirm Commitment to Deeper Cooperation

Bangladesh and China have reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening their comprehensive strategic partnership through enhanced cooperation in trade, investment, connectivity, and development sectors.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release that both sides made the commitment during Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman’s visit to China.
As part of the visit, Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman met Wang Huning, chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), in Beijing on Wednesday.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the growing bilateral relationship and expressed satisfaction with the progress of ongoing cooperation under the comprehensive strategic partnership.
They reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including trade, investment, connectivity, and development.
Foreign Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister Humayun Kabir and Bangladesh Ambassador to China Nazmul Islam attended the meeting.
