Selima Ahmad of Nitol-Niloy Group Passes Away

Prominent woman entrepreneur, business leader, and Vice Chairman of Nitol-Niloy Group Selima Ahmad has passed away (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un).
She breathed her last at 7:40 pm Bangladesh time on Sunday while undergoing treatment in Bangkok, Thailand.
Selima Ahmad had been receiving treatment for a long period at Bumrungrad International Hospital. The news of her death was confirmed by Vijay Kumar Mondal, Chief Executive Officer of Hero MotoCorp Niloy Bangladesh.
He said her body will be brought back to Bangladesh on Tuesday.
Selima Ahmad also served as president of the Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She was also a member of the National Parliament.
She was the wife of Matlub Ahmad, former president of Bangladesh’s apex business body, the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and Chairman of Nitol-Niloy Group.
