BJP Forming Govt, Says Suvendu

Suvendu Adhikari
Suvendu Adhikari, a senior West Bengal BJP leader, has claimed that the party is poised to form the government amid early leads.
He expressed this hope on Monday.
The BJP is currently leading in 194 seats, while the ruling Trinamool Congress is ahead in only 96 seats, says NDTV.
Commenting on the vote counting, Suvendu said, “Only a few EVMs have been counted so far. It is not right to make a big deal out of it. My initial observation is that Hindu EVMs are going to BJP, and Muslim EVMs are going to TMC. However, this is not as it used to be.”
According to the West Bengal BJP leader, “I have already received the first-round results from Nandigram. I am leading by 3,000 votes. BJP is forming the government. So, consider it confirmed. I expected a lead of 1,100, but I have received three times more. There will be a tough contest in Bhabanipur.”
He further added, “14 booths are Muslim-dominated in the first round. I am leading in eight Hindu booths. In Bhabanipur, from the 9th or 10th round onwards, you will see me pulling far ahead. I will become invincible after the 10th round.”
The BJP leader also said, “Hindus are supporting the BJP. This is a very positive sign for us.”
Vote counting began this morning, and it will soon become clear who will form the government in West Bengal.
