The capital city of New Delhi turned into a battlefield on Monday as the 'Cockroach Movement' (also known as the Cockroach Jaanta Party) launched a Parliament march demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the exam paper leak scandal.
Nearly 20,000 protesters, predominantly students, flooded the streets around the Parliament complex and Jantar Mantar. The situation escalated dramatically, marked by clashes between demonstrators and security forces, who deployed water cannons and tear gas amidst a massive security dragnet.
