Mayukh Ranjan Ghosh Leaves Republic Bangla!

West Bengal journalist Mayukh Ranjan Ghosh has left the Republic Bangla channel. He has stopped using the organization’s email and has also left its WhatsApp groups. Mayukh performed his duties in the newsroom for the last time yesterday, Tuesday.

Mayukh has withdrawn himself from the office’s formal procedures. Sources close to him said he has already informed the authorities of his decision.

However, neither Republic Bangla nor Mayukh Ranjan Ghosh has made any official announcement regarding his resignation yet. Attempts were made to contact him, but no comment was received. As a result, uncertainty remains over whether his relationship with the channel has come to a permanent end.

Amid the speculation, he made a lengthy post on social media last Tuesday. In the post, he recalled his memories of reporting on Bangladesh’s political situation on August 5, 2024. At the end of the post, he wrote, ‘I will bring every news first. From Kolkata to Caracas, from Dhaka to Damascus, stay tuned.’ Many believe the message is an indication of the beginning of his new professional journey.
